Our mission here at the Grumpy Smith LLC is to preserve American Cræft within the context of business. Producing handmade goods for sale and trade lies at the heart of why our ancestors developed the skill and discipline we now call craft. 

The Grumpy Smith LLC started as a blacksmithy. Over the course of time and customer demands, we found it necessary to pull an identity from older and older examples of who the smith was and what roles he took. The farther back we went the more encompassing the job of the smith became. We work in silver, brass, bronze, and copper and favor 1095 and O-1 steel.
